1. Know What Hazing Is
Hazing includes any behavior—physical, emotional, psychological, or verbal—that harms, intimidates, humiliates, or pressures someone as a condition of group membership.
Examples may include:
- Forced alcohol use
- Sleep deprivation
- Threats or humiliation
Activities that made someone feel unsafe or degraded, even if they "agreed" to participate. If you suspect hazing, it’s okay to report—even if you're unsure.
